SBI - Like SDI, but more idiotic

I do not know where to begin discussing the idiocy that is the Secure Borders Initiative (SBI). First, the government gives huge military contractors open ended contracts to ’secure our borders’ which is fairly idiotic - both in trying to secure borders with walls and cameras and fences and making it an open ended contract so they can spend as much as they want. So they say they will build a wall on the Texas-Mexico border. But then the wall would obstruct the view of the rich so they decide to leave gaps in the wall. Gaps that exactly match the property lines of the rich and connected. Just how stupid do they think Americans are? Do they really think we wouldn’t notice something like that?

Of course the most rediculous part of SBI is that the walls and fences are meant to keep out terrorists and not illegal immigrants. All of the terrorists for 9/11 or the first trade center bombing entered the country through legal border entry points. Points that are now secured by the great ‘No Fly’ list and the super 3-1-1. That will stop them now…
