Religion

I am an atheist and I am a Jew.

I do not believe in a supreme being as defined by any of the major religions and for that I think of myself as and atheist. However, I was born and raised in a traditional Jewish family and there is no getting around the fact that I continue to practice Jewish traditions. This dichotomy has left me in somewhat of a conundrum as to whether one can be both an atheist and a Jew. In the following posts I plan to offer my thoughts on both religion and tradition although not necessarily limited to atheism or Judaism.
