Ado Annie did sound a little funny, but I though that might have been on purpose — maybe she was supposed to sound grating?

Matinee. Seats D1 and D3. I agree that there were some small issues with mic mixing and staging, but nothing that distracted from the show. I was over at the dog park with Oliver during the evening show.

I didn’t see you - were you at the matinee or the evening show?

If I had to find something to find fault with it would be that the mixing on Ado Annie’s mic was a little off so she came off really loud. But it was a very solid show. They haven’t had any bad ones this year, which is a refreshing change.

The cats, dog and I all miss you, too. Especially the cats. I let Oliver sleep in the bed last night, the cats are extremely disgruntled about that.

I blame Bush as well. There is plenty of blame to go around. Our governenment currently does not take responsiblity to its bad actions only its good… and those are few.

Even though I live in the ‘city’ there is a herd of deer that graze through my yard every day. The fence was a must and last years was not good enough to keep them out so I went stronger and taller. I certainly am hoping it will be enough. I am looking forward to harvesting lots of beans and tomatoes and peppers.

You have built quite the fortress and I don’t blame you a bit. It is fun to plant but it more fun to receive and birds, rabbits, deer etc. love to spoil our fun.

Oh, edamame! I got hooked on edamame, but the only place I’ve seen them fresh is at the Ithaca Farmer’s Market. The frozen ones are okay, but just not the same as the fresh ones still in the pod. Mmmmm….

When you’re ready to start picking sage, try fresh sage tea. Steep 3-5 whole leaves, depending on their size, in a mug of hot water for 5 minutes. So, so good. It doesn’t need sweetening, IMHO, but some people like it with a bit of honey.
